ARTLINK 2008 At The St Petersburg Pier Runs Through July

Creative Clay, making the arts accessible to all in the community, announces ARTLINK 2008, an interdisciplinary & interactive exhibit that features artwork created by teams of professional artists and member artists attending Creative Clay’s Cultural Arts Program. “This is a very exciting project for Creative Clay and our entire art community,” said Grace-Anne Alfiero, Creative Clay Executive Director. “Our teams of professional and member artists have created insightful works that brilliantly showcase the talents of our community’s artists. This is a wonderful opportunity for the world to see the great work that we do here at Creative Clay.” Grace-Anne Alfiero conceived ARTLINK, with the first project in 1999. The exhibit will be open to the public from 10am-6pm each day of July at The Pier Gallery located on the 3rd Floor of the St. Petersburg Pier at 800 Second Avenue, NE, St. Petersburg from July 1 to July 31, 2008. Creative Clay’s ARTLINK project features 7 ARTLINK teams. An opening reception will take place Friday, July 11th from 5-8pm. At this event Creative Clay will unveil several new licensed products and a new frame-able collectible catalog of Artlink artwork. ARTLINK has been funded for ten consecutive years. Creative Clay was awarded grants from the Pinellas County Cultural Tourism Board, the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, and the Pinellas County Cultural Affairs Department. Bank of America is major sponsor of Creative Clay’s Cultural Arts Programs. Creative Clay is located at 1124 Central Ave, St. Petersburg.
